I don’t know if Jamie has given up on the cardboard car. I think maybe he is currently out of cardboard.
So, he’s begun work on a foamboard paper glider.
He and Dad went to the big hardware store and bought this little dremel type tool. Jamie’s using that tool to carve out the foamboard so it doesn’t shred.
Jamie set up shop in the garage. He put on his protective eyewear and a mask for his mouth and nose. Once he assembled all his materials, he shut the kitchen door (that leads to the garage) and proceeded to make very, very, strange noises out there.
I cocked my head to the side and Mom burst out laughing. It sounded like a little old man, who’d had a diet of sauerkraut and beans, out in the garage. BRRRRRRRAP! BRR-RRR-RRR-RRAP! brap brap brap brap!
Jamie came into the house to show Mom his progress. She said, “You know, that tool is making a rather strange sound,” to which Jamie replied, “It sounds like a giant fart. I know.”
Hee hee hee! At least it doesn’t smell.
Here is the fuselage so far. He’s going to work on it some more later.
Woof! Love, Maggie
