Not concentrating on the negative, just an attempt at light-heartedness over the uncertain future. Our future as a family over here is very uncertain. Husband is self-employed; pre-existing medical conditions, we rely on the (flawed) Obamacare, which our President-elect says he is going to dismantle. What is going to happen to us? My husband already works 12 hour days. How is my son going to get the surgery he needs (minor but necessary)? We are trying to get everything scheduled before January. We may need to heal the country, but this election’s impact on my family was HUGE.

Best wishes for completing all the medical care needs your family needs before the Republicans start dismantling the legacy of President Obama. How Trump unites us is yet to be seen. (VOTE BLUE in 2018!)

I’m very sorry to hear all this, but hopefully our pres-elect will have an alternative plan. Obama-care is falling in on itself as we speak, he doesn’t even need to dismantle it. So hopefully things will work out. Hillary was going to keep the plan and that would not have been beneficial to you or your family at all.

I realize Obamacare is failing. There are only 2 companies left on the Exchange in my state. At least we had something though. What worries me is the President elect said he was going to repeal this Act and did not ever say what he was going to replace it with, how it was going to be funded, and whom would be eligible. In fact, both candidates said very little at all.

For the record, I did not like either one. I felt that they did nothing to address the true concerns of the American people and spent every debate wasting our time, hurling accusations at each other. Part of the reason there is so much discord in our country now is because the candidates were so openly nasty to each other.
